In today’s episode, Justice Buller argued with the Jury. We took inspiration from a real case.
Jury. We cannot alter our verdict.
Court. You will let all the thieves in London escape.

Certainly Garrow’s Law is not boring to watch.
A commentator in this week’s Points of View said “Garrow;s Law is predictable in that Mr. Garrow always wins the case.” But not so in this 2nd episode.
I thought it one of the better episodes, (compared with the past series).
That POV poster obviously hasn’t been paying attention. The last episode of series 2 saw Garrow lose both trials he defended. Consequently he and Lady Sarah lost their reputations and little Thomas lost his life. The upside was only that Garrow didn’t end in Marshalsea.
He saved Renwick Williams only for him to die in prison, Captain Jones was only acquitted because Jasker perjured himself and went to jail, Baillie won but lost his job, the lace thieves were transported, the coiners hung/burned, etc. etc. There’s so much more than the guilty/not guilty verdict – as in this episode, where it very much appears that Garrow gained acquittal for guilty men.
I agree with all that has been said in the other 2 posts.
Each case is unique and, as with Garrows Law 1 & 2, the show grows in strength with each succeeding episode,
Great Stuff!
